Skipping

I’m skipping physics lesson. Whee. ^^ I’m so nasty.

Yesterday a very good friend of mine came to a visit. Because of him I have Xubuntu now, and this evening I’ll write my Total First Blog Entry with it. So, be there. ;)

I also put my NaNo to validator, so now I know that I succeed. Not surprisingly, but anyway, it makes me happy.  And maybe some day that story will be good enough for publishing. Just maybe.

Dancing was also great. I’m not a good dancer, but fortunately my friend, the same Linux-boy, is a good at… um, I don’t know exact word for it! :D However, I don’t have to think dancing, for most of the time, ‘cos he knows what to do and I just follow.

And he is a real gentleman.

But logaritms… Gosh.

Children, sliding and short stories

I did colouring pictures, and it was fun. I haven’t done them for years, but today I was looking after some kids and we coloured together. And, even though it sounds boring, it was quite relaxing.

While coming home from the bus stop I slide. The way was covered with ice and was very slippery, so it was also hilarious. And I also imagined, that I could take some ink and write a poem on the snow and ice.

I read two short stories today. Another was named August 2026, and it was great (about world after nuclear explosion [I'll  tell more tomorrow]) and the other was Woman on the Roof, by Doris Lessing, and I didn’t like it.

An old friend/enemy

I opened my book, read about three sentences, and… there it was! Derivative! “Oh, I thought we’re going to study logaritms.” “Yes, we will, but you can’t study logaritms without derivative.”

The worst words in my whole life. Maybe I should accept the fact that derivate exists, and I can’t do anything for it.

Just guess

First lesson of space maths is over. It was actually kinda fun, we learned to prove some common formulaes and that kind of stuff. And I was able to do them! I do love that kind of math, where is no need for numbers. Where everything can be proved just with n or different mathematic sentences or…

And next, logaritms. Fascinating.

Dostojevski

Dostojevski wrote a book named “The Idiot.” It could be written about me, unfortunately. Just yesterday I called to my friend and told, that I’m going to have two courses of math, one course of chemistry and one course of physics same time, and… today I found myself, sitting in the class room and having even third course of math. Geometry. And why? ‘Cos I can’t be satisfied with the number six. I have to get at least eight.

Please, somebody, tell me that I’m having a nightmare. Life can not be like that.

The Goal

Get a novel published. I’ll do it. I have to. So, now it is said. And now it is true. Just… be with me, ok? I can not do all that stuff alone.

Todays piano lesson was a catastrophe. I had practised, but I was tired, my hands were clumsy and I was kinda sad, so I couldn’t consentrate. Great. At least myteacher was tired too, so she left me home bit earlier than usually.

Tomorrow I’ll start two new courses of maths. Logaritms, and… oh gosh, space maths. So, you’ll hear more about my math studies, I presume. It seems that my life doesn’t contain anything else.

Surprisingly, maths, laptops and…

Another test, another day. It was easier that The Evil Derivative, I guess I could get ten. I even did all 8 tasks this time! \o/ Something else? Mmh.

A friend of mine visited two days ago, it was very funny. He always makes me smile and laugh. I also discovered something great: There’s spinning smileys in Gmail-chat! (And no, I don’t usually use it… But I have to test everything I can, live is short etc.)

Todays xkcd was a bit funny also. It was like me and my friend trying to but Ubuntu 7.10 to my laptop. (That laptop is older than the Earth.) Computer got destroyed, ‘cos there was something wrong with the kernel… Or, actually, something wrong with my laptop, maybe I should admit it.

Derivative, the most evil thing in the world

Yeah. I’ll never get ten from maths test. Even though I’d work even harder I did now. And I can’t imagine, how I could work harder, ‘cos last week before the test I just did maths about 32 hours. So, I guess that’s pretty much. I didn’t even write, or watch Heroes, or…

I guess I’m just a bit stupid or something.

Angst.

Derivative, once again

Die, you beast!

I did my test. I failed. Why? I did maths last evening about 6 hours, and even then I failed. Why? ‘Cos I’m so terribly excited always when I go to the class room for a test.

I think I’m going to burn my maths books. And then I’m going to move to Iran. There is not so hard maths in the upper secondary schools.
