Do-nothing-day

Today I just sat home and read a book. It was called Neverwhere, and I’ve read it before also, but this time was as interesting as the first. I ate some dark chocolate, planned some new stuff for my forum and started a novel. So, actually, I didn’t do much, but the day was nice, however. And maybe I’ll stay up for long today.

So, good night.

Boffering and dreaming

I started a new hobby today. It’s called boffering, and it’s like sworfighting, but with soft swords. It was actually really fun, ‘cos they thought that I can’t be good because I’m just a girl, but then I got a dagger and a shield, and it was great. I just ran around and backstabbed people. ^^

I’m so glad. And then I went to the moviefestival (I was one of the staff) and it was quite fun also, even though I didn’t see the whole film “Graffiti within”. Tomorrow again.

Religion kills

Ok, I did my wonderful test. It was boring. It was too easy. It was made of paper… and that’s totally enough. What’s the point of knowing who was pope in year 1356? Oh, yeah, I’m gonna need that great knowledge in my every day life.

Enough complaining then. I really do like history, but this morning… not just what I’d like to do, actually. It was so beautiful morning, the rising sun made those water drops shine and the air was fresh and it was freezing outside. It was like tasting a piece of winter in the middle of the autumn. And I had to spend whole, beautiful morning sitting in the class room, doing grey test. Whoaa.

That’s all about it. Luckily I’ve got some dark chocolate. And a good book.

Umm.

Ok, the blogs are usually for telling about yourself/myself/anyself (yeah, I know, the last one is not a word at all), so let’s do so. (Why I’m using the word “so” so much?)

Today was… quite boring. I just did one geography test (and found out, that blue tomato is an innovation [that was an example which I wrote because the test was so boring]) and had some prepping about religion. How interesting.

But I also started my year project.  First bookmark is now done. Blue one, with pastelcolours. Light blue in the background, and dark blue dragon in the front.Quite cliché, but anyway, I think that my friend likes it – he is a total fan of dragons.

So, that was today.

One year, one mission.

I just challenged Miccoh and Steelsheen to do this, so I think it is my duty to do so also. The point is to list 20 things I want to do during a year… and then, do them. So, let’s try.

1. Write a novel.

2. Do at least 20 bookmarks and give them to your friends.

3. Read at least one book in Swedish and 3 in English.

4. Learn how to cook a soufflé.

5. Knit a hat.

6. Get one of your writings published, except columns.

7. Watch the whole season one of Heroes.

8. Stay up over one total night or more.

9. Get 10 from some of your maths, chemistry or physics test.

10. Win Miccoh in the chess game (his own challenge)

11. Visit some place you’ve always wanted to, but you’ve never been before.

12. Get a summerjob.

13. Break a coconut.

14. Pass the music’s theory exams.

15. Write a letter to some of your idols.

16. Start learning a new language.

17. Make a new notebook for yourself.

18. Be active with your blog.

19. Get a boyfriend. (challenge from Virma)

20. Taste at least 20 different tea types.

So. That is it. I’m going to wait if Steel wants to give me a challenge all so, but otherwise… Here we go.

Thoughts about rain, part 1

A few nights ago I woke up in my bed, and it was raining. I heard the rain drops drumming the roof of our house, and I smiled. I could imagine, how the little drops danced around the sheet metal.

Then I just took my pencil and wrote a poem. And that is simply something which I really do love in autumn.

So, this is how it begins…

Welcome. This should be some kind of blog, I can’t say yet what it’ll be, but I hope that it has something to do with writing. ‘Cos I really do love writing, and I thing I’m going to write about my partisipation to NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, the point of which is to write the novel of 50,000 words or more). I did it last year (a bit more than 73 000 words), and I (hopefully) going to do it this year also.

Soon I’ll be working with Steely Challenge, the inventation of my fellows Miccoh and Steelsheen. The point of it is writing 10,000 words (a piece of cake ;) ), and having steel and cab tie in the story also.

Unfortunately I’m going to write it in Finnish, but… however. It’ll be fun.
